Bancroft’s School: This is a co-educational day school for 1130 pupils aged 7 to 18. 11+ entrance exams are taken in January of Year 6 (age 10-11). These consist of 11+ exams in English and Maths papers. Bancroft School does not use the ISEB 11+ exam papers but rather sets its own 11+ assessments. Candidate may be selected for interview. 13+ is not a usual entry point at Bancroft’s and entry will depend on whether a place is available. 16+ entry is based on an exam and interview in November. A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 8 or 9 are required with at least grade 8 in A-Level subjects. Scholarships are available at 11+ and 16+ and are based on performance in the entry exams, interview and reports. The value is up to 50% remission on fees. https://www.bancrofts.org/admissions/admissions-policy/
