Francis Holland School SW1: This is a day school for 517 girls aged 4 to 18. Entry at 4+ is the main point of entry to the Junior School. The registrar should be contacted before your daughter turns two. The assessment is in the January before the year of entry. Entry at 11+, the school is a member of the 11+ London Girls Consortium consisting of 12 schools in London. From 2019 there is a new bespoke cognitive ability test which is 70 minutes long. The format is CEM and consists of questions covering required and an interview testing problem solving, critical thinking and creativity is conducted. The results can be shared with other schools in the consortium maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. It is not online and there are no other written assessments. Most questions are multiple choice. Entry for year 7 is taken in January of year 6. The exam is not ISEB 11+ Common Entrance. References from the current school are also required and a separate application must be made for each school. Overseas candidates are required to take the assessment at one of the 12 schools in London. Scholarships for 11 + are up to 5% of the fees and at 16+ for up to 25% of the fees. Entry at 16+ for Sixth Form includes an interview, reference from the current school and examination papers in the proposed A-level subjects. The offer of a place is conditional on satisfactory GCSE results.
