Heathfield School: This is a girls only boarding school for 180 pupils aged 11 to 18. 11+ entry is assessed in November of Year 6 through the CEM test in numeracy, literacy and non-verbal reasoning. An interview is also conducted. 13+ entry takes place in November of Year 8 or by deferred entry in Year 6 by the same entrance exams as 11+. The school does not use Common Entrance exams. 16+ entry is by interview, reference and is conditional on GCSE results. A minimum of 6 grade 4 to 9 at GCSE is required along with at least a 6 in subjects studied for A-Level. Academic scholarships are automatically considered and pupils are invited to a scholarship assessment day. The award is £250 per term. Overseas students can take the exam at their current school and have a Skype interview if necessary. A language assessment may be requested. Visa applications are supported.
