More House: This is a day school for 204 girls aged 11 to 18. For 11+ entry there is an “Open Evening” during the Autumn Term each year and the school encourages group visits at other times to meet the Head. There are also coffee mornings in the calendar for prospective parents to meet teaching staff, look at academic work and ask any questions. Registration forms must be completed by the Autumn term of Year 6. In the second half of the Autumn term of Year 6, prospective pupils come for a 'Taster day' to join in a range of classes. They will also have an informal interview with the Head, lasting around 15minutes. They are encouraged to bring in an item of interest to talk about. The school is a member of the 11+ London Girls Consortium consisting of 12 schools in Lon ability test which is 70 minutes long. The format is CEM and consists of questions covering required and an interview testing problem solving, critical thinking and creativity is conducted. The results can be shared with other schools in the consortium maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. It is not online and there are no other written assessments. Most questions are multiple choice. Entry for Year 7 is taken in January of Year 6. The exam is not ISEB 11+ Common Entrance. References from the current school are also required and a separate application must be made for each school. Overseas candidates are required to take the assessment at one of the 12 schools in London. For entry to at 16+ a letter to the Head must be written by the candidate and interviews conducted.
