North London Collegiate School
North London Collegiate School: This is a day school for 1101 girls aged 4 to 18. 4+ entry is a two-stage process in January before the year of entry. The first stage involves play activities in groups of children. They may be invited back for a second stage with smaller groups and a one to one session with a teacher. 7+ entry involves literacy and numeracy tests. Children need to be able to write a story, read fluently and answer comprehension questions. They will also be tested on maths calculations and problem solving. 11+ applicants sit 11+ entrance exams in English and Maths. Shortlisted candidates then have an interview. Note that North London Collegiate School is not part of the 11+ London Girls Consortium. Neither do they use the ISEB 11+ Common Entrance papers but instead have their own assessments. 16+ applicants take entrance exams in November in the subjects proposed for A-Level. They will also have an interview and need a report from their current school. There are overseas branches of the school in Jeju (Korea), Dubai, Singapore and Bangkok. https://www.nlcs.org.uk/admissions/admissions-process
