Oxford High School: This is a girls only day school for 857 pupils aged 4 to 18. 11+ entrance exams are taken in November of Year 6 (age 10-11). Oxford High School holds an 'Admissions Day' with assessment papers in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Girls are also encouraged to take part in Science, Art, Drama, Music and PE activities. A report will be requested and they will be asked to bring an object to discuss at interview. 13+ entry involves exams in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning along with a report and interviews. 16+ entry is based on a written exam, CAT tests and interviews. Five GCSEs at grade 7 or higher are expected including a grade 6 in Maths and English. Scholarships are available based on performance in the entrance exams. Overseas pupils must have a parent living with them and guardian arrangements are not allowed.
