St Edward’s, Oxford: This is a co-educational day and boarding school for 690 pupils aged 13 to 18. 13+ entry is through the ISEB Common Entrance Exam for pupils at prep schools. If they are not at prep schools, they can take the schools own exams in January of Year 8. 16+ entry is based on the school’s own exams taken in November of Year 11. A minimum of six GCSEs above grade B are required with A or higher in subjects to be taken at A-Level. Scholarships are available at 13+ and 16+ and attract a 10% fee reduction. Overseas pupils must take the UKiset exams and attend tests in Maths, English and Science at St Edward’s along with an interview.
