St Paul’s Girls’ School: This is a day school for 759 girls aged 11 to 18. 11+ candidates must register by November the year before entry. The online pre-test is taken in November. It is a cognitive ability test created by CEM with elements of Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. If successful in the pre-test a reference from the current school will be requested. The second stage, in January, consists of written papers in English, Maths and Comprehension. If candidates do well in these papers the third stage is an interview to assess independent thought and creativity. 16+ entrants should expect to receive A* at GCSE and entry is based on an entrance exam and interview.
